John Vincent recently revised his book, Radical Jesus, and now seeks to revive the sotry of Radical Jesus in the New Testament, then to trace some salutary followers of it down through 2000 years, and finally to discover where such a "Radical Christianity" might lead today.

 

The Programme

    The biblical origins of Radical Christianity with study of selected biblical passages
  2. Radical Jesus, Radical Disciples
    The historical manifestations of Radical Christianity with study of selected figures and movements
  3. Radical Disciples, Radical Futures
    The present-dau possibilities of Radical Christianity with study of selected contemporary projects and programmes.

The Leader

Revd Dr John VIncent is Leader of the Ashram Community and organiser of the Burngreave Ashram, Sheffield. His most recent books are the new course, Journey, Explorations into Discipleship, the second edition of Radical Jesus, both published by the Ashram Press, and Methodist and Radical (jt.ed.) published by Abingdon Press.

Dr Vincent is also Emeritus Director and part-time Lecturer at the Urban Theology Unit and an Honorary Lecturer in Biblical Studies at the University of Sheffield and in Theology at the University of Birmingham.
